Whole Wheat Quick Bread (без дрожжей)

Instructions

Ингредиенты:

  • 3 чашки (cups) [468 grams] цельнозерновая мука (whole wheat flour)
  • 2 tsp бикарбонат натрия (baking soda)
  • ¼ tsp соль
  • 2 чашки кефир
  • ¼ чашка мёд
  • 2 Tbsp оливковое масло
  • 1 Tbsp семена подсолнечника (sunflower seeds) Optional, to sprinkle over the top.

Подготовка:

  1. Preheat the oven to 150oC.
  2. Grease and flour coat a 2L (9x5in)bread pan.
  3. Combine the мука, бикарбонат натрия and соль, in a large bowl. Mix well to evenly distribute the rising agent.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the оливковое масло, мёд and кефир.
  5. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and quickly mix just enough to combine.
  6. Immediately transfer the batter to the bread pan.
  7. Optionally, Sprinkle the sunflower seeds on top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 55 minutes +/- until done.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack for about 10 minutes before removing bread from pan. Cool completely before slicing.
