6 Ingredient Marsala Mushrooms

  • 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil +1 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 500 gm. шампиньоны гриби, sliced
  • 3 small shallots, (0r 1 medium onion finely chopped) peeled and quartered
  • 3-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh тимьян (thyme) or розмарин (rosemary) finely chopped (optional)
  • ¾ cup Мадера Вино (или Марсала вино)
  • 3 Tbsp crème fraîche
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

подготовка:

  1. In a large fry pan, heat the olive oil on medium high heat, melt in the butter, stir.
  2. Add mushrooms and onions, cook for 7-8 minutes, stir occasionally, cover to help steam the mushrooms).
  3. Add garlic and thyme, cook for 2 minutes more.
  4. Add the wine, cook an additional 5-6 minutes or until reduced by 2/3.
  5. Stir in crème fraîche, season with salt and pepper, continue stirring until the Marsala sauce is smooth and thickened.

Can be stored for 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
